The largest retail chain in Poland offering consumer electronics and household appliances has leased over 4,200 sqm of modern space at the MLP Poznań logistics centre. Media Expert will begin operations at the new location in July 2025. The company was advised in the leasing process by the agency Cushman & Wakefield.
Media Expert will occupy over 4,200 sqm of Class A space, of which approximately 4,000 sqm will be dedicated to warehousing purposes, while 180 sqm will be used for office and staff facilities. Handover of the facility is planned for July 2025. The transaction was brokered by the advisory firm Cushman & Wakefield.
The warehouse, built a few years ago, still meets the highest technical standards. Its timeless character is the result of a well-thought-out concept, excellent location, functional layout, and an above-standard number of loading docks located on both sides of the building. This makes the facility perfectly suited to the needs of modern supply chains, enabling efficient cross-docking operations and reducing delivery times.
Media Expert – the largest consumer electronics and home appliances retail chain in Poland – has over 600 brick-and-mortar stores nationwide and operates one of the country’s most popular online stores at www.mediaexpert.pl.
"We are very pleased to welcome Media Expert as a new tenant at the MLP Poznań logistics centre. It is gratifying that Poland’s leading retailer of consumer electronics and home appliances has placed its trust in our offering. The Koninko park is an exceptionally well-positioned location – right next to the S11 expressway and only 4 km from the A2 motorway – enabling efficient logistics operations and offering excellent access to key transport routes across Poland" says Tomasz Pietrzak, Leasing Director Poland at MLP Group S.A.
Ultimately, the development will comprise approximately 90,000 sqm of warehouse and production space, which will be built on a 19.2-hectare site.
"Our presence at MLP Poznań enables us to strengthen fast, consolidated deliveries, significantly reducing order processing times and improving the shopping experience for our customers in Poznań and Greater Poland. Today, efficient logistics is a crucial factor in creating a satisfying customer journey and gaining a competitive advantage in the omnichannel model. That’s why we are heavily expanding our warehousing, distribution, and fleet capacities. By integrating sales channels and optimising logistics processes, we can respond even more effectively to the market’s dynamic demands" says Michał Mystkowski, Media Expert spokesperson.
" We are pleased to have once again had the opportunity to advise Media Expert on the selection of warehouse space. Excellent collaboration with MLP Group and a strong understanding of our client’s needs resulted in the lease of a functional unit layout enabling transshipment operations" added Paulina Machałowska, Associate in the Industrial & Logistics Agency at Cushman & Wakefield.
MLP Poznań Park is an example of MLP Group’s long-term “build & hold” strategy, under which all developments remain in the company’s portfolio and are directly managed by the Group. This approach ensures that tenants benefit not only from high-quality infrastructure but also from stability, flexibility, and long-term operational support. Each MLP Group investment stands out for its excellent location, customised solutions, and high standard of building maintenance, which translates into lasting attractiveness of the facilities over the years.
