Korean Air to Launch Daily Seoul–Hiroshima Service

Korean Air will launch a new daily service connecting Seoul Incheon International Airport with Hiroshima Airport from 23 December 2026, further strengthening its network across regional Japan.
Flight KE2183 will depart Seoul Incheon at 10:35 and arrive in Hiroshima at 12:15. The return flight, KE2184, will leave Hiroshima at 13:25 and arrive in Seoul at 15:25. Korean Air will operate the route using its modern Airbus A321neo aircraft.
Hiroshima is the largest city in Japan’s Chugoku region and an important destination for both tourism and business. The city is known for attractions such as the UNESCO-listed Itsukushima Shrine, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and the historic Shukkeien Garden.
It is also a major industrial centre, hosting operations from companies including Mazda, Micron Technology, JFE Steel and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. The new daily connection is therefore expected to support growing demand from leisure and corporate travellers.
The launch forms part of Korean Air’s wider strategy to expand connectivity across Japan, alongside increased services to Aomori and Okayama, daily flights to Niigata and Komatsu, and an additional late-night service to Osaka Kansai.
