Korean Air will launch a seasonal non-stop service between Seoul Incheon and Melbourne, expanding its network between South Korea and Australia.
The new route will operate three times per week from 18 December 2026 until 14 March 2027, responding to growing travel demand during Australia’s peak summer season. Flights will operate every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday using Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
Flight KE409 will depart Seoul Incheon at 08:00 and arrive in Melbourne at 20:30. The return service, KE410, will leave Melbourne at 22:00 and arrive in Seoul at 07:35 the following morning.
The Melbourne service will complement Korean Air’s existing year-round connections to Sydney and Brisbane. It will provide additional capacity for the growing tourism, business, education and cultural exchanges between South Korea and Australia.
The route also marks Korean Air’s return to Melbourne after a 13-year absence and further strengthens the airline’s presence in the Oceania market.
