Maersk Appoints Scott Elliott as Regional President for Asia Pacific

A.P. Moller – Maersk has officially appointed Scott Elliott as Regional President for Asia Pacific, reinforcing the company's leadership in one of the world's most strategically important markets.


Elliott has been serving as the interim Regional President since January 2026, leading the business through a period of continued transformation and growth. His permanent appointment reflects Maersk's confidence in his leadership and extensive experience across finance, logistics, and supply chain management.


Since joining Maersk in 2020 as Regional Chief Financial Officer for Asia Pacific, Elliott has played a key role in driving the company's regional strategy. Before joining Maersk, he held senior leadership positions at Toll Global and CEVA Logistics, gaining extensive international experience across Asia, Europe, Australia, and the United States.


Commenting on his appointment, Elliott highlighted the importance of the Asia Pacific region, describing it as the world's largest regional economy and a critical hub for global trade. He emphasized his commitment to working closely with customers, partners, and employees to strengthen Maersk's integrated logistics offerings and support the company's long-term growth ambitions.


The appointment comes as Maersk continues to strengthen its leadership team and expand its end-to-end logistics capabilities across the Asia Pacific region. The company also confirmed that the search for a permanent Regional Chief Financial Officer is currently underway.


With Elliott at the helm, Maersk aims to further enhance customer service, accelerate innovation, and capitalize on the significant growth opportunities across one of the world's most dynamic economic regions.
