A.P. Moller–Maersk has expanded its Trade & Tariff Studio, an AI-powered platform designed to help businesses manage increasingly complex customs regulations, tariffs and compliance requirements.

Building on its initial launch in 2025, the enhanced platform connects trade planning, pre-entry reviews, customs execution, reporting and post-declaration audits within a single workflow. It provides audit-ready guidance on product classification, duty exposure and government agency requirements, enabling companies to identify potential risks before their goods enter the supply chain.

The platform uses AI-powered HTS classification guidance and allows businesses to model how production locations, materials and tariff changes could affect landed costs. It can also classify thousands of SKUs in bulk, continuously monitor regulatory developments and generate documents to strengthen audit readiness.

Users can interact with the platform through a conversational AI interface and upload product images, technical documents or product links to receive customs and compliance insights within seconds.

The solution is particularly relevant for multinational companies, manufacturers, regulated industries and high-volume retailers managing large product portfolios. By moving customs decisions earlier into sourcing and product development, Maersk aims to help businesses reduce costs, strengthen compliance and make better-informed supply chain decisions.
