It works directly within transportation workflows, benchmarking contracted rates against market rates, evaluating carrier reliability by lane, and automatically selecting carriers. Shipment results are then used to improve future sourcing decisions.
By automating tasks such as rate benchmarking, mini-bids, and renewal negotiations within defined rules, the AI Freight Procurement Agent helps companies secure competitive rates faster while maintaining service quality. It can engage the market in seconds instead of hours, capturing savings that manual workflows often miss.
The system builds on project44’s Freight Procurement Analytics and operates on its large logistics data graph, which connects hundreds of thousands of carriers and billions of shipments worldwide.
