United Cargo and CargoAi have formed a strategic partnership to expand digital connectivity in the airfreight industry. The integration makes United Cargo’s domestic and international capacity available on CargoAi’s platform, where more than 23,000 freight forwarders can access real-time rates, bookable capacity, and eBooking for General Cargo and Express services. Capacity can be booked through the CargoAi marketplace as well as direct connections with leading Transport Management Systems (TMS), supporting greater visibility and automation across multiple booking channels.
The collaboration spans several key markets, including the United States (with domestic services), Canada, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, and Portugal. This broad coverage provides freight forwarders with increased flexibility and access to global capacity, while giving airlines and digital platforms new opportunities to simplify processes and enhance efficiency.
A central feature of the partnership is the integration of CargoAi’s CargoMART Interline module, which automates the interline booking process. By enabling real-time capacity checks and instant e-bookings, the module reduces the need for manual communication and accelerates transactions. Already adopted by multiple carriers, the solution supports seamless API integration across more than 100 airlines, creating a standardized and efficient approach to interline bookings without requiring significant IT resources.
This development highlights the industry-wide move toward digitization, providing freight forwarders, airlines, and technology platforms with more streamlined, transparent, and connected booking processes. It reflects a shared goal to modernize cargo logistics and make capacity more accessible across an extended global network.
Matthieu Petot, CEO of CargoAi, commented:
"United Cargo’s decision to join the CargoAi ecosystem reflects a shared vision for the future of air cargo — one where digital connectivity, automation, and collaboration define how airlines and forwarders work together. By combining United Cargo’s global reach with our technology and Interline capabilities, we are building a foundation for a more agile, transparent, and customer-centric airfreight industry, ready to meet the demands of tomorrow’s supply chains."
