CEVA Logistics has announced a significant expansion of its transpacific air freight network by launching a new charter service between Hanoi, Vietnam (HAN) and Chicago (ORD) while renewing its successful Wuxi, China (WUX) – Chicago charter program. The initiative strengthens the company's controlled air cargo capacity and provides customers with reliable transport solutions across one of the world's busiest trade lanes.
The new Hanoi–Chicago service will operate three times per week using a Boeing 777 freighter, offering same-day departures and arrivals. It is designed to support manufacturers in the high-tech, industrial, retail, and e-commerce sectors as Vietnam continues to emerge as a key global manufacturing hub under the "China Plus One" strategy. CEVA will also provide cargo collection and consolidation from Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City, ensuring seamless door-to-door logistics solutions.
At the same time, CEVA has renewed its twice-weekly Wuxi–Chicago charter, now operated in collaboration with CMA CGM Air Cargo. Each flight offers up to 100 tonnes of cargo capacity, giving customers stable and predictable shipping options while reducing dependence on volatile spot market capacity.
Both services are supported by CEVA's advanced logistics gateway in Chicago, featuring dedicated freight handling facilities, customs clearance capabilities, and temperature-controlled storage. Customers can also choose Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and other low-carbon transport options through CEVA's FORPLANET sustainability program, reinforcing the company's commitment to greener global logistics.
