Qatar Airways Cargo Expands Global Network with New Capacity and Seasonal Freighter Services

Qatar Airways Cargo has announced a major expansion of its global network, introducing new destinations, resuming key routes, and increasing freighter and belly-hold capacity across Asia, Europe, the Americas, Africa, and the Middle East. The enhancements will boost the airline’s overall cargo capacity by 12%, strengthening connectivity through its Doha hub and providing customers with greater flexibility and reliability.
The expansion includes the launch of new passenger destinations such as Bogotá and Caracas, alongside the resumption of flights to Helsinki and Tokyo Haneda. Qatar Airways Cargo has also reinstated Boeing 777 freighter services to Vienna, added a second weekly freighter to Warsaw, and introduced a new freighter route to Katowice, further enhancing cargo links across Central and Eastern Europe.
Additional capacity has been deployed across several high-demand markets, including Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, São Paulo, Nairobi, Johannesburg, Lagos, and Maputo, supporting growing global trade flows and improving access for industries such as pharmaceuticals, perishables, e-commerce, and high-value cargo.
With these network enhancements, Qatar Airways Cargo continues to reinforce its position as one of the world's leading air cargo carriers, investing in greater capacity and broader global connectivity to meet increasing customer demand and evolving supply chain requirements.
