DHL eCommerce has announced the acquisition of Venipak Group, one of the leading independent parcel delivery providers in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Subject to regulatory approval, Venipak will become part of DHL eCommerce, significantly expanding the company's presence across the Baltic region.

The acquisition gives DHL a fully owned operational footprint in the Baltics by combining Venipak's well-established local infrastructure with DHL's global logistics network. Venipak currently operates around 800 parcel lockers, an extensive network of pickup points, and provides both B2B and B2C parcel delivery services throughout the region.

According to Pablo Ciano, CEO of DHL eCommerce, the Baltic countries represent one of Europe's fastest-growing e-commerce markets. By integrating Venipak into its network, DHL aims to strengthen cross-border parcel services, improve delivery efficiency, and offer customers more reliable and sustainable shipping solutions.

Following the completion of the transaction, Venipak customers will benefit from access to DHL eCommerce's international network, including cross-border shipping, returns management, and more than 165,000 drop-off and collection points worldwide. Despite the acquisition, the Venipak brand will remain in place, while its existing management team and employees will continue in their current roles to ensure a smooth transition.

DHL also plans to invest in expanding Venipak's parcel locker network, increasing sorting capacity, upgrading IT systems, and further developing its workforce. These investments are expected to strengthen DHL's position as a leading e-commerce logistics provider in the Baltic region while supporting the continued growth of international online trade.
