E-commerce specialist freight forwarder Rich Sale International is set to launch dedicated freighter services between China and the United States through a new partnership with Atlas Air.

The new operation will connect Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport in China with Chicago Rockford International Airport, providing additional capacity for the rapidly growing cross-border e-commerce market.

The partnership will utilize dedicated freighter capacity operated by Atlas Air, strengthening Rich Sale International’s ability to transport e-commerce shipments efficiently between two of the world’s largest consumer markets.

Chicago Rockford has developed into an increasingly important US gateway for international e-commerce cargo, offering an alternative to larger and more congested airports.

The new China–US operation highlights the continued importance of dedicated air cargo capacity in supporting global e-commerce supply chains, particularly for shipments requiring fast and reliable transit times.
