DHL Global Forwarding has introduced a new three times weekly air cargo service connecting Bangkok and Cincinnati, strengthening freight connections between Southeast Asia and the United States. The new TransPac Connect solution provides customers with secure cargo capacity, reliable schedules and greater supply chain resilience.

The service uses widebody freighter aircraft with up to 100 tons of cargo capacity per flight and is supported by DHL's road feeder network across the U.S. In addition to Bangkok, customers can also ship cargo from Hanoi and Taipei, with connections to major U.S. gateways including Cincinnati and Chicago.

According to DHL, the expansion reflects the growing importance of Southeast Asia as a global manufacturing hub and helps businesses move high value and oversized cargo with greater reliability and cost predictability. The new route is part of DHL's broader strategy to strengthen its controlled air freight network and improve global supply chain resilience.
