Hapag-Lloyd expands carrier haulage solutions across the Middle East

Hapag-Lloyd has introduced updated carrier haulage solutions across the Middle East in response to the evolving situation in the region and ongoing disruptions affecting logistics operations.

The company is now offering cross border container transport via key gateway ports including Jeddah, Salalah, Sohar, Khorfakkan and Fujairah. These connections enable continued access to Upper Gulf markets such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Qatar, helping maintain supply chain continuity despite regional challenges.

In addition to cross border services, domestic trucking operations within the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia remain fully operational. These services play a critical role in supporting inland cargo movements and ensuring that goods continue to move efficiently within key markets.

The update comes at a time when the Middle East logistics environment remains highly volatile. Ongoing geopolitical tensions have already caused disruptions to shipping routes, capacity constraints and operational uncertainty across the region.

Hapag-Lloyd has emphasized that capacity for these services remains subject to availability at the time of booking. Customers are therefore encouraged to plan shipments well in advance to secure space and reduce the risk of delays.

The company continues to monitor developments closely and is working with customers to provide tailored inland transport solutions. Dedicated support teams remain available to assist with bookings and operational planning as the situation evolves.

Despite ongoing uncertainty, these expanded carrier haulage options are designed to provide greater flexibility and resilience for supply chains operating in and around the Middle East.
