LPP Logistics has successfully implemented the PSIwms warehouse management system at its new e commerce logistics center near Bucharest, Romania. The project was completed by PSI Polska and represents a major step in strengthening the LPP Group’s logistics infrastructure across Central and Eastern Europe.
The facility covers an area of 65,000 square metres and is considered one of the most highly automated e commerce logistics centres in Southeast Europe. Its infrastructure includes nearly 1,100 robots, sorters and conveyor systems that allow the processing of more than 80,000 online orders per day. The warehouse can store up to 7.5 million garments and accessories, most of them located in an automated high bay warehouse with around 630,000 storage positions.
The PSIwms system manages operational processes and coordinates the robotics used throughout the facility. It has been integrated with advanced automation technologies including high bay warehouse robots, autonomous sorting robots and conveyor lines with a total length of almost one kilometre. The system also includes an outbound sorter capable of handling up to 14,000 parcels per hour.
The implementation and integration of the system were completed in less than three and a half months, allowing the logistics centre to begin operations at the end of October 2025, one month ahead of schedule. From this location, LPP Logistics processes online orders for several regional markets including Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece and Hungary, helping to shorten delivery times and improve the cost efficiency of the logistics chain.
According to Sebastian Sołtys, CEO of LPP Logistics, the rapid implementation of the PSIwms system allows the company to fully utilise the potential of automation and maintain high operational capacity while improving efficiency and customer service quality. The new fulfilment centre forms a key part of LPP’s strategy to expand its logistics capabilities in Southern Europe and support the continued growth of its e commerce operations.
