MGL CARGO EGYPT EXECUTES COMPLEX ROOFTOP CHILLER LIFT

MGL Cargo recently completed a high-stakes heavy-lift operation involving the rigging and rooftop installation of a Daikin chiller—one of three being upgraded at a commercial facility. The mission: lift and install a 950 kW Daikin chiller up to the 7th floor, replacing older 825 kW units.
SCOPE OF WORK
To get the job done, MGL deployed a massive 650-ton crane carrying 100 tons of weight, supported by a 14-meter fly jib to extend reach across the roof. The true challenge lay in the precise maneuvering required to navigate around existing antennas and equipment mounted on the rooftop.
Several pre-lift site surveys and detailed planning sessions with engineers, technicians, and client stakeholders ensured seamless coordination. The result: a safe, efficient, and expertly executed lift.
