UPS has opened a new operations center in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, expanding its logistics network to better serve the fast-growing high-tech manufacturing sector in southern Taiwan. The new facility doubles UPS's package processing capacity in the region and supports businesses with faster and more flexible international shipping services.
Located in Nanzi, the center serves major industrial and technology parks, including Gangshan, Gangshan Beizhou, Nanzi Technology Park, and Renwu Industrial Park. Customers in these areas can now benefit from up to three additional hours for export shipment pickups destined for the United States, giving companies more time to prepare orders without delaying deliveries.
The investment reflects UPS's commitment to supporting Taiwan's expanding semiconductor and advanced manufacturing industries. As more companies establish operations in southern Taiwan, the new Kaohsiung center improves access to UPS's global logistics network, which connects more than 200 countries and territories.
According to UPS, the new facility will help businesses improve supply chain efficiency, increase flexibility, and strengthen global connectivity while supporting the long-term growth of Taiwan's high-value industries.
