Worldly, the leading sustainability data and analytics platform serving more than 40,000 manufacturers, brands, and retailers, today announced a major step toward connecting the consumer goods industry’s fragmented sustainability systems — the acquisition of GoBlu, creators of The BHive®, the industry’s leading platform for chemical inventory management, traceability, and compliance.

The acquisition brings GoBlu’s technology, team, and expertise into the Worldly platform, creating the foundation for the first unified system that connects chemical compliance data with verified environmental performance across consumer goods — transforming how the industry manages sustainability and supply chain risk.

The Challenge: Fragmented Data Is Slowing Industry Progress

Brands and retailers today rely on multiple data platforms to manage different parts of their sustainability and risk programs. Many use Cascale’s Higg Index suite of tools—developed in collaboration with Worldly—for core sustainability objectives. Yet fragmentation across chemical management, traceability, and carbon accounting persists, leading to inefficiency and repeated data requests to factories. With strategic acquisitions like GoBlu, Worldly is executing its vision to eliminate this fragmentation and create a more unified, efficient system for the entire industry.

The Vision: Unified Intelligence Across the Sustainability Data Landscape

By combining GoBlu’s The BHive® with Worldly’s environmental data infrastructure, the industry will, for the first time, be positioned to connect what chemicals are used with how they affect environmental performance.

This integration will enable:

  • A unified view of compliance and impact at both facility and brand levels

  • Streamlined data collection that reduces reporting burdens for suppliers

  • Advanced analytics and AI-driven insights that help customers spend less time reconciling data and more time driving measurable progress

Customers of both Worldly and GoBlu will experience no immediate changes to their existing solutions. GoBlu will operate as a business unit within Worldly, led by its founder and managing director, Lars Doemer, and all GoBlu employees will join Worldly’s team. The BHive® platform will continue to serve existing customers with no immediate changes, while benefiting from Worldly’s global infrastructure and support. Over time, deeper integrations will unlock new capabilities and insights across both customer bases.
