MSC Launches Europe – Red Sea – Middle East Express Service

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company has announced the launch of a new Europe – Red Sea – Middle East Express service in response to growing demand for connections between Europe and the Red Sea region, as well as the ongoing challenges in the Middle East.
The service is designed to provide reliable, efficient, and competitive shipping solutions, offering improved transit times suitable for a wide range of cargo types. The first sailing is scheduled from Antwerp on 10 May (voyage OC619 A).
The new service will call at key European ports and provide direct connections to major Red Sea hubs, including King Abdullah Port, Jeddah Islamic Port, and Port of Aqaba. Further connections to destinations in the Gulf region (UAE and Upper Gulf) will be ensured through multimodal solutions.
The eastbound rotation will include: Gdansk – Klaipeda – Bremerhaven – Antwerp – Valencia – Barcelona – Gioia Tauro – Abu Kir – King Abdullah – Jeddah – Aqaba
Enhanced Coverage Across Europe
The service will be supported by MSC’s extensive network, covering all major European regions, including North West Continent (NWC), Scandinavia and the Baltic, West Mediterranean, Adriatic, East Mediterranean, and the Black Sea.
This will enable flexible cargo routing and improved access to key markets across Europe, further strengthening trade links with the Middle East.
