UAE-based cargo airline SolitAir has expanded its China network with the launch of a new freighter service between Dubai World Central (DWC) and Tianjin Binhai International Airport (TSN). The new route strengthens trade connectivity between the UAE and northern China while supporting the movement of secure, time-sensitive and high-value cargo.
The inaugural flight carried a VIP cargo shipment, highlighting the airline's focus on providing tailored air freight solutions for business customers. Tianjin becomes SolitAir's third destination in China, following the successful launch of services to Hong Kong and Urumqi.
Tianjin is one of China's largest industrial and logistics hubs, serving key sectors such as automotive, aerospace, electronics, pharmaceuticals and advanced manufacturing. The city also plays an important role in the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei economic region, making it a strategic location for international cargo operations.
According to SolitAir, the new route is part of its strategy to expand connectivity across Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe while meeting growing demand for reliable airport-to-airport cargo services. The airline currently operates a fleet of Boeing 737-800BCF freighters and plans to continue expanding its network in key global trade corridors.
